Maths bridging course
At the end of the course, students will have increased confidence in maths and be better prepared for quantitative subjects, including mathematics, statistics and science subjects.
Please note that the Mathematics Bridging courses are not intended to prepare and/or provide practice for the UTS Mathematics Readiness Survey.
Courses available:
Mathematics Preparation is a two-week course that revises/introduces the main mathematical concepts necessary for the study of quantitative subjects.
- Mathematics Preparation includes revision of algebra, functions, equations, introduction to calculus and simple applications.
- Mathematics Preparation is recommended for students who have studied General Mathematics in the HSC or have not studied 2-unit Mathematics in Year 11 or Year 12.

Mathematics - is an intensive two weeks course aimed to revise mathematics required for the study of quantitative subjects. The course covers core topics of pre-calculus and calculus and includes advanced techniques and applications.
- Mathematics is recommended for students who have studied 2-units Mathematics.
- Mathematics is not suitable for students who have only General Mathematics in the HSC or have not studied 2-unit Mathematics in Year 11 or Year 12.
