A river runs through presents major new work by Spence Messih exploring the entwined currents of water and gender. Through sculpture, print and film, the exhibition reflects on control, resistance and fragility, drawing connections between ecological vulnerability and contemporary experiences of gender.

50 Years of Deadly

The 2026 National NAIDOC week theme

For NAIDOC Week's 50 Years of Deadly theme, UTS Gallery is teaming up with UTS' Creative Practice Research Group to screen short films on 1970s and '80s First Nations rights battles, plus Pauline Clague's new doco The Colleano Heart (2025), tracing a First Nations family's story from the 1920s to '50s. Book your seat now.
