The Child Protection Research and Advocacy hub works to transform child protection systems and practice to address persistent inequities and achieve better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people, their families and communities.
The Hub focuses on three key, interrelated areas:
Promoting systems change by critically examining and reimagining child protection systems and practice
Elevating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices in child protection systems and practice
Building the evidence base for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander approaches to child protection systems and practice
We work in service of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, including families and organisations, sharing expertise and contributing to advocacy, to achieve real impact for children, families and communities, consistent with their rights, interests, and aspirations.
