Finding a compatible research partner is the first step towards successful academic collaboration. The KTP team offers support to help you pick the right match.
Identify a collaborator
For UTS academics
If you have an existing connection with a KTP academic and would like to collaborate, consider applying for the KTP Visiting Fellow program, KTP Seed Funding Scheme, or Worldwide Universities Network Research Development Fund.
If you’re not yet sure who you can collaborate with, the KTP team can help:
- Explore our partners to discover opportunities for future collaboration.
- Identify the faculty, school or research centre that aligns with your research interests at the partner university.
- Use the search function on the partner university’s landing page by entering key words related to your research area.
For KTP academics
- Find a compatible UTS researcher or potential collaborator through our online directory.
- Identify the UTS faculty or UTS research centre that aligns with your research interests.
- Search keywords related to your research area and identify relevant UTS counterparts. Use the search function on the UTS landing page.
If you would like assistance from our team – whether to help you find a collaborator or to facilitate an introduction – please contact the Strategic International Partnerships team: internationalpartnerships@uts.edu.au
Where the KTP fellowship became really important for us was how we could follow up on our research intentions. Before then we’d worked on projects together - but hadn’t had the sustained period needed to properly develop things. KTP meant we could actually be in the same space, keep an ongoing discussion, and really work together.
