The Faculty of Science, in partnership with industry and community sponsors, offers a wide range of prizes each year to recognise outstanding student achievement. These prizes are made possible through the generosity of our donors, who support and celebrate academic excellence across our programs.

These prizes are awarded annually at the Faculty of Science Scholarship and Prize Giving Ceremony, held each August.
Awards
Dean’s List in Science
Recognises undergraduate and postgraduate Science students who achieve strong academic performance across a full academic year. A certificate will be available for collection from the Faculty. Recipients will be notified with details regarding collection.
Dean’s Merit List for Academic Excellence in Science
Awarded to the highest-performing student in each discipline area based on academic results across the year. A certificate will be presented at the Science Scholarship and Prize Giving Ceremony.
The recipient lists are finalised by the end of May of the following year.
