Career Coaching & Critical Legal Thinking workshop for Law (International students)
These two workshops are for law international students and inbound study abroad and exchange students who want to elevate their job application skills and improve their critical legal thinking.
The first session, with Esita Sogotubu from UTS Careers, will:
- Show you how to identify your strengths and competencies which leverage your international experience.
- Teach you how to identify what employers are asking for in their advertisements.
- Show how you can discuss and distinguish yourself throughout the application process.
Important: Please bring 1 x job advertisement you’d like to use for practice.
The second workshop, with Associate Professor Grace Li, will focus on Critical Legal Thinking. Where you'll explore complex legal concepts through hypothetical and real case studies and topics. You will:
- Sharpen your analytical skills - practice legal problem solving
- Engage in thought-provoking reflections - experience effective approaches for sustained learning
- Navigate challenging scenarios - come out confident you're applying the law accurately.
By attending this workshop, you’ll enhance your understanding of the law and its applications in a supportive and interactive environment.

A complimentary afternoon tea will be provided between the workshops. This is your opportunity to make student connections, meet our Director (Students), and a UTS LSS representative.
