Graduation is when you complete your award requirements, and your award has been approved by the Academic Board. This is separate to the process of a graduation ceremony, which is the traditional celebration of academic achievements for those receiving Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral Degrees.

In order to graduate from UTS, it's essential that you ensure all of your details are up to date, and that you have no outstanding fee sanctions in your My Student Admin account.

These steps must be completed while you're considered to be a 'graduand' - the period of time after you've completed the requirements for a particular award, but before you've been awarded that degree.

During this time, it's important that you're aware of everything you need to do to prepare for your graduation.
