Graduation invitation

Graduands are invited to attend graduation ceremonies by conferral. If you're unsure when you were conferred, your conferral date is on your academic record (transcript) and testamur.

Spring 2026Graduates conferred in May 2026, July 2026 and/or September 2026. 

May and July 2026 conferrals: Tuesday 4 August to Monday 17 August 2026. 

September 2026 conferrals: Tuesday 15 September to Sunday 20 September 2026.

Thursday 29 October to Friday 13 November 2026 (dates subject to change). 

Eligibility to defer

If you're unable to attend the ceremony season that you've been invited to, you can defer to attend a future ceremony season. Eligibility applies as outlined below.

You must complete the deferral form in order to be invited to a future ceremony season. When completing the form, you'll be prompted to nominate which ceremony season you wish to be invited to.

If you were conferred prior to or during March 2025, you're no longer eligible to attend a UTS graduation ceremony. Should you still wish to attend a graduation ceremony, please submit an Ask UTS enquiry.
