Final exams are delivered online and the majority of students sit their exams at home.

Even while sitting your exam remotely, there are still plenty of resources available to help you manage study and stress levels during exams.

General support

We understand that exams can be stressful and we want you to feel confident and prepared. To help, UTS offers a range of services to make sure that you head into your exams feeling ready, including:

  • the support page, where you can access helpful resources for health and wellbeing, academic support, and information on booking a study space before your exams.
  • the Library for their workshops and training and on-campus services (such as borrowing books, accessing facilities, and getting help with research or assignments).
  • this handy guide from the UTS Counselling service, which offers tips on how to set yourself up for success and what you can do if you need help.

And don't forget to take breaks and give yourself time away from your screen. Your health and wellbeing are just as important as your academic success!

Additional and supplementary exams

We know things can sometimes go wrong. If you're sick or something unexpected happens during your exams, or you're impacted by external events, you can apply to sit an alternative exam (if you completely missed the exam) or for special consideration (if you attempted the exam). Alternative and supplementary exams dates can be found on the Centrally conducted exams dates and timetables page.

Other available support

Don't forget, there's plenty of academic support and resources available to you to support your needs.

  • Academic support is available via the support page.
  • The UTS Library and Reading Room are open and you can access other virtual library services including study skills and tips to help you cope with stress.

Keep an eye on your UTS email inbox as well as the Exams FAQ and Online invigilated exams pages for updates.
