Our modern world calls for global citizens to face global challenges. Experiencing different cultures and cultivating new perspectives will provide you with a broad range of skills that will help you thrive in the future.
Each university session break, in collaboration with our international partners, UTS's Global Short Programs team offers short-term programs that will broaden your horizons. These programs may be held overseas or virtually, and include:
- Summer/Winter schools at partner universities
- Experiential learning programs
- International internships
- Language learning programs
The majority of these programs are supported and endorsed by faculties. If eligible, you may receive academic credit towards your studies at UTS along with financial support.
Going overseas or participating in a program virtually can be expensive. If you need some help to supplement your own savings, please check out the scholarships and loans that are on offer. If you apply for a UTS-approved Global Short Program, you will automatically be assessed against scholarships offered for that program. Please review the eligibility criteria for applicable scholarship before submitting a program application.
UTS Travel Insurance
UTS will provide free comprehensive travel insurance to UTS students who participate in UTS-approved travel related Global Short Programs. The UTS Travel insurance is provided for the duration of the program, and for an additional three days before and three days after the program.
