Our modern world calls for global citizens to face global challenges. Experiencing different cultures and cultivating new perspectives will provide you with a broad range of skills that will help you thrive in the future.
Each university session break, in collaboration with our international partners, UTS's Global Short Programs team offers short-term overseas programs that will broaden your horizons, including:
- Summer/Winter schools at partner universities;
- Experiential learning programs; and
- International internships.
The majority of these programs are supported and endorsed by faculties. If eligible, you may receive academic credit towards your studies at UTS along with financial support.
Travel grants and loans available
Going overseas can be expensive. If you need some help to supplement your own savings, please check out the travel scholarships and loans that are on offer. If you apply for a UTS-approved Global Short Program, you will automatically be assessed against scholarships offered for that program. Please review the eligibility criteria for applicable scholarship before submitting a program application.
UTS insures your travel
UTS provides free comprehensive travel insurance for all UTS students travelling on a UTS-approved Global Short Program. The UTS Travel insurance is provided for the duration of the program, and for an additional three days before and three days after the program.
