Start your UTS journey in Hainan at Northeast Forestry University

The University of Technology Sydney has partnered with Northeast Forestry University (NEFU) to establish the UTS China Learning Centre (CLC) at NEFU Hainan International College, located in the Lingshui Li'an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone. It’s a safe, scenic and supportive learning environment with innovative facilities including advanced labs, smart classrooms, libraries and student lounges, ensuring a high-quality academic experience.

The CLC offers three flagship degrees with a focus on combining theory with practical experience:

  • Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence
  • Bachelor of Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Science.

The curriculum is designed to be industry-oriented, aiming to help you master the skills needed in today’s and tomorrow’s workplace, and is taught by UTS academics through a blend of face-to-face block teaching and live online classes. 

The degrees enable engineering and science students to complete their first year at Northeast Forestry University Hainan International College and then travel to Sydney to complete their second and third years.

Beyond the classroom, students will also enjoy access to basketball courts, badminton halls, gyms and regular activities like singing contests, sports competitions, beach outings and gardening – all promoting physical and mental wellbeing.
