Students in UTS Library

HCMUT is one of the top universities in Vietnam with excellence in engineering, technology and applied sciences.

These areas match the strengths of UTS, which makes it a perfect partner for our first offshore degree programs in Vietnam.

UTS and HCMUT have a strong and longstanding partnership in research and technology.

Together, we've delivered impactful projects funded by both governments, such as real time sea water monitoring, AI powered drones for search and rescue, and a smart system to remove arsenic from drinking water.

UTS and HCMUT are both leaders in AI and IT, making this a natural and powerful partnership for delivering top quality education in these important fields.

Students in Vietnam can now study AI and IT at a top 100 Global University in Ho Chi Minh City.

When I was looking for university in Australia, it's really important for me to find something that reflects working industries. And when I actually go to UTS, there's a lot of project-based work, and then the tutors were really responsive.

At UTS, all of my subject was based on presentations, group projects, and we get a chance to work with actual brands.

And they have these studio-based subjects that let us actually experience a working environment. Everyone was so nice. I even made friends with my tutors as well.

They are open to chat with you whenever you need help with anything.

Vietnam's tech sector is growing fast and there's rising demand for skilled professionals in AI and IT. UTS’s offshore degree programs at HCMUT, support Vietnam's goals to build a strong and innovative workforce in science and technology.

The Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence will prepare you to solve real world problems using AI, and our applied focus will develop your skills in areas like self-driving cars, facial recognition, voice assistance, and more.

The Bachelor of Information Technology combines strong technical skill development with practical skills in problem solving, teamwork, business analysis, and communication.

Both programs will equip you with the skills to thrive in the global tech industry and become future leaders in AI and IT innovation.

From day one, you will be a UTS student, just like your counterparts in Sydney.

You'll learn from world class lecturers with half of your subjects taught by UTS staff through a mix of in-person and online learning.

You will study towards the same high quality UTS degree, but from Vietnam with lower tuition fees and living costs. You may even choose to transfer to Sydney during your studies.

Teaching is shared by both UTS and HCMUT staff, with UTS lecturers traveling to Vietnam for face-to-face classes, giving students the best of both universities.

You'll learn in small tutorial groups, which means more personal attention, better understanding of complex topics, and more opportunities for discussion and problem solving.

You will also receive full support from both UTS and HCMUT, including access to UTS’s online resources and library plus on campus support from HCMUT’s experienced staff, creating a rich and supportive learning environment.

I would very recommend  to anyone to choose UTS. They are just so supportive.

They can help you with anything they can, even online or offline.

Every resources, just ask for help and they will come and help you anytime. I really enjoy my time at UTS and I definitely recommend it for other international students.

I think what stands out for me the most is we have a very strong student life community. The learning experience is very similar to current working industries, so that is something that was amazing to me and I really enjoy it.
