Academic Background and Work Experience: Senior roles in the big 4 banks, especially Commonwealth Bank – Head of Payments Architecture, Head of Payments Innovation, Emerging Technology Innovations Executive, developing real time payments, worlds first blockchain transactions, a number of patents and innovations, NSW Government Digital Identity, technology consulting. Academics: Background in engineering/computer science, financial services, Master of IT Leadership in Deakin University – dissertation in Digital Identity. Chair of ACS, NSW, Chair of National Business Assurance Committee ACS and Member of ACS Congress, Senior Member and Certified Professional ACS, Senior Member of IEEE, one of Australia’s first Charted Bankers, and Fellow of FINSIA, Graduate of AICD, company director of Fintechs and founding member of numerous start-ups and neo-banks.
