• UTS Startups – Practical Entrepreneurship Program

  This is a Year 11 University Developed Board Endorsed Course (UDBEC). 

  Practical Entrepreneurship is a 60-hour fully online, self-directed course teaching tech-enabled entrepreneurship through hands-on missions based on the proven Rapid Value Creation (RVC) methodology.

  This course introduces a systematic approach to entrepreneurship grounded in data-driven methods and market insights – not visionary ideas, passion, or luck. It's about achieving results through persistent effort and smart decision-making.

• Centre of Social Justice and Inclusion – Student Equity Programs

  The UTS Centre for Social Justice and Inclusion (CSJI) manages Student Equity Programs to provide support for students, promote equity and inclusion, and remove barriers to education. Key programs include the SOUL social justice and leadership program, the Humanitarian Scholarship Program, and the U@Uni Academy for students not on track for university entry. The CSJI also supports students with disabilities, carer responsibilities, and cultural diversity through policy, resources, and specific initiatives.

• Elite Athletes and Performers Entry Scheme

  The scheme recognises the impact elite sport and performance can have on students.

  Eligible applicants will receive 5 adjustments to their selection rank, which will be used to determine entry into our courses.

• UTS College Pathways

  A UTS College diploma is usually equivalent to the first year of our undergraduate courses. While studying for a diploma, students will receive ongoing academic support, access to our facilities and be taught in small class sizes through practical learning.

• Jumbunna Admission Program

  The Jumbunna Admission Program is a free and dedicated entry scheme to the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, that looks beyond academic scores like the ATAR.

• UTS Accounting Co-op Scholarship

  The UTS Accounting Co-op Scholarship is part of the Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) program, offering scholarships of up to $54,000 over three years to recent school leavers, along with paid industry placements. Applicants must apply through both the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) and a separate online scholarship application, and are selected based on their ATAR, online application, and an interview that also includes a group assessment.

• UTS IDEA Cadetship

  The Industry Degree Academy (IDeA) is a three year program, available only at UTS. Students work at some of Australia’s leading companies while they study. The program is codesigned with industry partners, so students graduate with the skills and experience employers seek, along with industry experience.
