How will UTS College help me get into UTS?
A UTS College diploma is usually equivalent to the first year of our undergraduate courses. While studying for your diploma, you will receive ongoing academic support, access to our facilities and be taught in small class sizes through practical learning.
Some diplomas will fast-track you into the second year of your undergraduate study. Once you complete your diploma, you may be eligible for direct entry to the corresponding UTS course, provided you achieve the required grade point average (GPA).
Your way to UTS
UTS College offers a choice of seven unique diplomas, most of which fast track to the second year of your degree and provide up to 52 credit points RPL*.
You can choose one of the following diplomas, which are equivalent to the first year of many UTS undergraduate degrees, including pathways to Bachelor of Laws.
- Animation Production
- Business
- Communication
- Design, Architecture
- Engineering
- Information Technology
- Science
UTS College also offers two additional pathway options for international students:
- UTS Foundation Studies, for students who have completed the equivalent of Year 11, or
- Cambridge International AS and A Levels, for students who are at least 16 years, and have completed the equivalent of Year 10.
Both courses offer direct entry to the first year of more than 200 UTS undergraduate degrees.
International students also have the option to study Academic English at UTS College, either as part of a packaged program with an academic course, or as a standalone option before direct entry to UTS.
