What you’ll study
This program covers essential nursing subjects, including Anatomy, Pharmacology, and Patient Care, alongside clinical placements for practical experience. You’ll develop critical thinking, communication, and advocacy skills to provide high-quality care.

First year
You'll commence your degree by completing a range of core theoretical and clinical nursing and science subjects, developing your foundational understanding of healthcare and nursing fundamentals. To consolidate your learning at the end of the year, you'll get hands-on experience, engaging in a supervised placement in a clinical setting. -
Second year
You'll enhance your understanding of crucial areas like pharmacology, mental health and care for the older person. Your second year will see you undertake eight weeks of clinical placement across four subjects. -
Third year
In the final year of your degree, you’ll hone your skills in preparation for graduation through both a four-week and a six-week clinical placement. You'll also undertake any remaining core units as you prepare to transition to a new graduate nurse and complete your choice of elective into a nursing specialty. -
Honours
Eligible students can apply for the Bachelor of Nursing (Honours). Completion of this program requires an additional year of full-time study.
