Director, Controlled Test Facility, NTRC
Adam leads the establishment and operation of the neural Controlled Test Facility. In this facility, researchers will validate the ability of mobile devices to complete emergency calls during cross-network failures.
Professor Mehran Abolhasan
Program Lead and Chief Investigator, NBN Co. ASTRID
Mehran is a communication engineering leader with research expertise in wireless networking, Internet of Things, cybersecurity, software defined networking, intelligent transportation systems, urban greening and digital agriculture.
Dr Marokh Abdollahi Lorestani
Marokh is a postdoctoral researcher with expertise in SDN and O-RAN-based resilient networks. She has extensive experience in network design and management, O-RAN and 5G emulation and digital twin systems, and geospatial privacy for telecom applications.
Industry Professor Justin Lipman
Justin is the Director of the Cyber Digital Centre at UTS and the former Deputy Chief Scientist at the Food Agility Cooperative Research Centre. He has more than 12 years of industry R&D experience.
Dr Majid Amiri
Majid is an expert in antenna and RF system design for MIMO and mmWave technologies. He has extensive expertise in RF testing equipment and circuits and has produced a range of satellite and IoT RF solutions.
Associate Professor Diep Nguyen
Diep is the Director of the Agile Communications and Computing Group at UTS. His research interests span computer networking, mobile computing, cybersecurity, wireless communication (5G/6G) and machine learning AI/application.
Associate Professor Hoang Dinh
Hoang is an expert in advanced wireless communications and networking. He has been recognised among the top 2% of scientists in the world for four years running and has produced one patent, seven books and more than 200 publications.
Dr Ying He
Ying is a senior researcher specialising in LEO/5G non-terrestrial networks and physical layer optimisation using machine learning. She has developed O-RAN systems and real-time SDR test beds. Ying holds seven patents.
