Postgraduate research program
IMPACCT has an established postgraduate research program in the areas of cardiovascular and chronic disease (prevention, treatment, and self-management); palliative and supportive care (especially for people with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses); end of life symptom management (especially: pain, confusion, breathlessness, appetite; and gastrointestinal problems including nausea, bowel obstruction, and constipation); delirium and dementia; and aged care.
Our postgraduate research students conduct multidisciplinary, ethical and scientifically rigorous clinical and non-clinical studies on issues at the forefront of palliative, aged and chronic care.
