Practical Entrepreneurship

NESA Approved UDBEC (University Developed Board Endorsed Course)

A 60-hour fully online, self-directed course for Year 11 students that teaches tech-enabled entrepreneurship through 8 practical missions with reflective assessments. 

  • Based on Rapid Value Creation methodology.
  • Self-paced with UTS marking and feedback.
  • $350 per student (Low SES schools eligible for funded positions).
  • Appears on HSC record.

Program benefits

For teachers and careers advisers: Both programs are fully supported with minimal preparation required. UTS Startups Summit is completely facilitated by our team. Practical Entrepreneurship is self-contained with UTS providing all marking and feedback. Students gain real-world skill development, university pathway connections, and industry networking opportunities that prepare them for innovation-driven careers.

For students: Develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Increase your confidence in presentation and public speaking.
