Vanessa Ronan-Pearce, UTS Startups RVC mentor

See what past students have said

“It wasn't just the knowledge you shared that made a difference, it was how you changed the way I think, and empowered me to take action.”

“I'm not typically a fan of school but you guys have made the course so interesting and useful for me I actually get excited to complete the missions sometimes!”

“I've learnt so much, especially that the key is just starting and getting things done.”

“Thanks for pushing me, changing my mindset, and giving me the tools and tips to help me take action.”

Format

The RVC program involves your participation in 8 out of 14 weeks. All content is recorded, all discussion forums are online, and occasional in-person collaboration, work sessions, and mentor meetings are scheduled throughout the program.

You will be expected to implement a small project (called a mission) and submit a video detailing your process and findings each week. Missions are compulsory, and missing the deadline for mission completion 2 times will result in your removal from the program.  Missions will take you between 5 and 15 hours per week to implement. Each mission lasts one week and the week of each mission will depend on the missions that you select.

Skills required

You will need to be familiar with the major social media platforms. You can follow video instructions to set up your own Shopify and Etsy stores, build videos for YouTube or TikTok, and set up an advertising campaign on TikTok or Facebook.

If you're ready to explore opportunities, create value, and lead in the digital age, this is the path for you. Join the RVC program today, and let's redefine the future together.
