CPP entitlements for midwifery students

From 1 January 2026, UTS is introducing a new model that outlines CPP entitlements for midwifery students. Approved by the Department of Education and aligned with Australian Government guidelines, this payment model helps eligible students unlock up to 26 weeks of CPP through clinical placement and Continuity of Care (CoC).

If you’re a UTS midwifery student applying for the Commonwealth Prac Payment (CPP), this page explains how UTS works out your:

  • CPP support weeks
  • placement start dates
  • subject allocations
