What you’ll study
Journalism is offered as a major in the Bachelor of Communication. In this degree, you'll complete core Communication subjects covering topics like citizenship, digital literacy and communicating difference, building a comprehensive overview of this fascinating and wide-ranging discipline.
You'll then begin specialising your knowledge through your Journalism major, where you'll study subjects covering news, journalism in the age of social media, media law and ethics, multimedia reporting, data and investigations, digital journalism research as well as visual and sound journalism before undertaking a professional project. Enhance your knowledge further with your choice of Communication electives or build more expertise through your choice of a second major.
