About this course

This course provides a practical introduction to quality control (QC) analytics in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, designed to support participants developing GMP‑relevant analytical literacy and confidence.

Participants will gain foundational understanding of how QC analytics are used to assess product quality, potency, and safety across the manufacturing lifecycle. The course focuses on how analytical data are generated, interpreted, and applied to support manufacturing decisions, batch release, and regulatory confidence.

Emphasis is placed on industry‑relevant analytical approaches, data interpretation, and understanding the role of QC within a GMP quality system, rather than method execution or analyst‑level training.

Learning outcomes

  • Describe the role of QC analytics in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and batch release
  • Explain how analytical testing supports assessment of product quality, potency, and safety
  • Interpret common QC data outputs and recognise expected trends and variability
  • Understand how analytical results inform GMP documentation and manufacturing decision‑making
  • Communicate more effectively with QC and quality stakeholders using appropriate terminology
