The Gender Legislative Index
The Gender Legislative Index is a tool to rank and score legislation against global standards for women’s rights. It is aimed at helping legislators, activists and advocates to build a body of legislation that works better for women.
Auditing the Auditors
Our project has examined four parliamentary committees across Australia, Canada and Spain to assess whether gender audit committees have a positive and measurable impact on the legislative process.
Gender, technology and the law
This research will deepen knowledge on the gendered impacts of AI and the ways in which AI risks reinforcing existing inequalities, discrimination and harmful stereotypes in our societies. We will examine emerging approaches to gender-responsive AI governance and comparatively investigate legislative approaches to tech-facilitated gender based violence.
