Study Ready Workshops for New Students

What is Study Ready?

Study Ready is a free half-day workshop run by HELPS U:PASS leaders for new students. These senior UTS students will share their invaluable knowledge of all things study and assignments in a format that won’t leave you snoozing. Plus, there will be free pizza for lunch! 

What topics will be covered?

• Academic integrity 

• Preparing for assignments 

• Presentations 

• Time management 

• Study skills 

• Wellbeing support 

Who can attend?

First-year undergraduate students at UTS can attend!  If you're a new postgraduate, you're also welcome, but bear in mind some topics might not suit your needs. 

Other students interested in these topics should come to HELPS for an Assignment Chat. 

When is Study Ready?

Workshops run in Week 1 of the session.

The next workshops will be offered on Monday 27 July and Wednesday 29 July (Week 1). 

Time: 10:00am - 1:45pm 

How do I join?

1. Go to the registration page on https://careerhub.uts.edu.au/students/events/detail/8483126

1. Choose the date you would like to attend (you should only select one day). 

1. Come to CB01.05.01 (HELPS Lounge) at 10:00am on your chosen date! 

Registration will open at the start of orientation (20 July) :)
