• Terms of reference

  • To make recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor or the Vice-Chancellor's delegate on course authorisation applications (refer Course Approval Policy), considering the opportunities and risks of the proposed course (or the major change to the existing course), how the course contributes to UTS and or the faculty’s portfolio and whether the course strengthens UTS’s reputation and market position.
  • CPC may consider the approval of courses, extension of course accreditation and phasing out and discontinuation of courses, and on planning approval of proposals which involve offshore institutions and may have an impact on courses and any other new course or major change as outlined in the Course Approval Policy.
  • To refer policy matters arising from consideration of course planning approval documents to the appropriate committee.
