Bachelor of Human Movement
While completing my degree in Human Movement Studies (now titled Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science) at UTS, I developed a children’s fitness program for a local leisure centre where I met Scott Ehler. With a synergistic drive to succeed and a strong desire to help curb the growing trend toward childhood obesity, we established Active Kidz - a health and fitness TV show for kids. Active Kidz is an international television program, screening on the ABC and Nickelodeon in Australia and on the Disney Channel in New Zealand and Asia. Studying at UTS allowed me to achieve a dream I never knew I had. I walked into UTS with enthusiasm and a passion for health and fitness and I walked out with confidence and determination to change people's lives. The UTS learning environment challenged me and helped me to grow as an individual. The teaching staff were extremely knowledgeable, professional and approachable - going that extra mile to help whenever possible. The knowledge and skills I gained at UTS helped me to succeed in both the fitness and business worlds.
