Learning design for educators
Demand for learning design professionals is growing across a wide range of sectors as digital transformation continues to reshape how people learn. Whether you're a current educator or seeking a new direction, the Graduate Certificate in Learning Design and Technology aims to prepare you to design effective, and engaging technology-enhanced learning for diverse audiences.
Offered online in full-time or part-time mode, and with subjects delivered over six-week sessions, the course allows you to combine focused studies in learning design with other commitments. What you’ll study
Catering to adult learners, this program is designed to help you evolve your learning design skillset. You'll study and apply theories integral to effective learning design practice, explore critical concerns like privacy, ethics and accessibility, and build the technical capabilities needed to design effective learning experiences in different workplaces and contexts.
You'll also gain insights into the use of learning analytics and the importance of assessment, evaluation and cutting-edge feedback tools. Equip yourself for this era of continual change by examining digital trends and emerging technologies like Generative AI, by developing vital skills needed to evaluate and implement new tools and platforms in considered and value-added ways.
Finally, you'll put this all into practice with our internship-like experience, where you will work on a learning design project that contributes to a work-ready portfolio.
