Transport

UTS is located a few minutes walk from Central Station, the city of Sydney's main train station. Domestic and International airport trains link direct to Central – 10/12 minutes from airport to Central. A taxi from the airport to the UTS city campus will cost approximately $30, depending on the time of day/traffic congestion.

If you haven’t used public transport in Sydney for a while, the good news is that there is now an integrated ticketing system for all forms of public transport. You can add credit to your Opal card at the convenience store on the ground floor of UTS Building 10 (Jones Street) as you exit the conference venue.

Limited street meter parking is available with 2-hour limit at $2.20/hour. There is a user-pay parking station available, managed by InterPark parking. The Thomas Street car park (between Wattle Street and Jones Street, below Building 10) is undercover and charges $14 for less than one hour, $20 for between 1 and 2 hours and $27 for more than two hours.
