Health Services Management (HSM) was established by UTS Health, University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2000. We provide education, research and consultancy for health and social services and inform policy at local, state and national levels.

Our vision is for safe, equitable and high-value health and social services that meet the needs of all members of the community.

To achieve this, our team: 

  • undertakes research in partnership with community and other stakeholders to improve the delivery and management of health and social services
  • delivers postgraduate programs in the management of health and social services to improve the capabilities of current and future health and social service leaders
  • co-designs policy and practice with community, health and social service providers, industry and government
  • is embedded within health and social service industries through adjunct positions, placement of students, supervision of higher research degree students, and health and social service and government leadership roles.
