Enterprise learning solutions

Create impact through co-designed and agile learning experiences, tiered for different levels and roles in your organisation. We partner with a broad range of clients in the public and private sectors to create tailored learning solutions that support them to achieve their goals, building capability, changing mindsets and behaviours, and delivering outcomes.

We help clients identify what skills and capabilities will be required for their organisation or team’s current and future workforce and recommend the best approaches to develop these skills for their learners. We conduct organisation‐wide learning needs analysis to uncover insights that contribute to the design, experience, and outcomes of the learning solution.

Clients gain insights into the latest key upskilling trends and methodologies to enable them to achieve their upskilling needs in the most effective and efficient manner. We offer different levels of co-design and support options to our clients based on their needs and constraints.

  • Alan Skinner:

To remain competitive in today's world of increasing disruption, competition and change, organizations need to be able to constantly improve their processes and practices. Lean Six Sigma offers a powerful set of tools and techniques key to sustaining high levels of performance, enabling organizations to provide better responses to customers' needs.

Hi, my name is Alan Skinner and I am the Director of the Lean Six Sigma Program at the UTS Business School. We are different from other Lean Six Sigma offerings in the marketplace. Our programs are based on the latest academic research combined with industry best practice. We offer a broad range of programs including a leadership program, as well as coaching and consulting services. Through coaching during our courses, we focus on developing participant skills in building collaboration and collective action with stakeholders.

    Speaker 2:

I was also pleasantly surprised by the change management and facilitation techniques and approaches that were given to us. And because my lived experience with my project was that it was more the people and change management side, that was the difficult part more than the technical bit, so it was just really good to have had some tools in the tool belt to approach those.

    Alan Skinner:

We emphasize project acceleration methods and action learning as forms of planning and change management to enable a more effective breakdown of work in improvement projects.

    Speaker 2:

And since doing the course I've really stepped up, experimented when doing technical group facilitation, but also designed and facilitated senior management groups on a lot more complicated problems as well.

    Speaker 3:

So you know as I said, I put every member of my team through the program. I think having a thorough understanding of the philosophy so that we can all work in the same way is important. And then, also being able to grow employees so that as they move into more senior roles that they're able to structure the way that they approach problems, structure the way with which they manage functions in a way that's consistent across all my areas of responsibility is important. So to be able to deploy those tools has been quite important. I can think of two projects where we've saved a seven figure sum by deploying those techniques. So the ROI on this has been absolutely fabulous.

    Alan Skinner:

We combine creative thinking and design concepts with more traditional Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to foster participants' ability to pursue exploration and innovation in improvement projects.

    Speaker 3:

I was so blown away by how good the course was and how useful it was to terms of being really practical that every member of my team now has to go through the program.

    Alan Skinner:

  • Max Reisner:

The human brain is amazingly complex,  and even though we all have one it turns out we don't really understand how they work.

What percentage of your brain's processing do you think is subconscious?

    Is it 25%?

    50%?

    Maybe even 75%?

What if i told you only 0.001% of your brain's processing is on a conscious level? The problem is organisations plan with a conscious brain for what people should do instead of what they actually do. Effectively throwing spaghetti and hoping something will stick.

I'm Max Reisner, an applied behavioral economist, and this new micro-credential about behavioural decision making teaches you to speak right to your stakeholders' subconscious.

After a primer of how the brain works, the meat of this course is like a reference guide of my top behavioral concepts for business. Ones I and fellow colleagues used most often with steps to begin applying them on their own and combined for maximum impact.

Properly applied behavioral economics improves the experience for everyday people and businesses. It's a beautiful thing and unlocking those secrets of the brain makes it possible.

Sign up now so you can start throwing darts while your competition continues to throw noodles.
