Support for the UTS community

Safety caseworkers

All staff and students at UTS can reach out to a safety caseworker via phone, email, text, chat or in person. Safety caseworkers are professionally trained staff who can:

  • listen to you, talk about what has happened and offer confidential support
  • help you explore your options and decide what further steps, if any, are right for you
  • connect you to further resources
  • help coordinate practical arrangements such as safety and support planning
  • guide you through collecting and recording information or evidence
  • walk alongside you to help navigate UTS systems – from making a report to the conclusion of formal processes.

UTS staff and students can speak to a safety caseworker by email, phone or in person.
