Vaccines

Vaccines are available at the UTS Health Service and most of them incur a fee. If you have private health insurance, you may be able to receive a partial rebate for the cost of the vaccine; please check with your health insurance company in regards to this. Depending on the vaccine, you may need more than one dose.

UTS Health Service works closely with the Faculty of Health to support students in completing vaccination and health compliance requirements for clinical placements, including reviewing immunisation records and providing required vaccinations. Nursing students can receive a discount on vaccines required for compliance. Please let our friendly reception team know when booking your appointment.

COVID-19 vaccinations

COVID-19 vaccinations are currently available through the UTS Medical Service for domestic and international students.

Domestic students can make an appointment for a COVID vaccination by calling 9514 1177.

International students (onshore) can make an appointment outside UTS by following the instructions on the Australian Government COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Checker.

It is important that you do not come into the practice if you are experiencing COVID or flu-like symptoms, so please phone to discuss appointment options.

Please check your eligibility using the Australian Government COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Checker.
