About the team

Peer Advisors are experienced UTS students who provide free, confidential support to help students navigate university life.

They can assist with understanding university systems, accessing support services, developing study habits, finding academic and wellbeing resources, and building confidence throughout the student journey.

Whether you're unsure where to start, facing challenges with your studies, or looking for guidance on getting involved at UTS, Peer Advisors offer a friendly student perspective and can connect you with the right support at the right time.

Booking a Peer Advisor appointment

Peer Advisor appointments are available during selected periods at the beginning of each teaching session, typically within the first five weeks of session. These free one-on-one appointments connect students with experienced UTS students who can provide guidance on navigating university life, accessing support services, developing study strategies, and getting connected to the UTS community.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday between 10:00am and 4:00pm and can be attended by phone or via Microsoft Teams video call.
