Partnering with UTS through the Brennan Justice and Leadership Program offers not-for-profits a unique opportunity to engage with passionate, socially conscious law students committed to justice, leadership and community service. The Brennan Program encourages volunteer work through our Leadership Through Service component, enabling not-for-profits to tap into a dedicated pool of student volunteers.
The Program fosters deep engagement with social justice issues via discussions, events, and reflections on justice and offers organisations a partner network that’s not only service-oriented, but also informed and reflective about systemic issues.
As a not-for-profit partner, you can benefit from both the students’ energy and idealism, and gain opportunities to design meaningful projects, for example pro-bono legal work, community outreach, or social-justice initiatives. Ultimately, the partnership helps amplify the impact of the not-for-profit while allowing students to gain real-world experience and advance the cause of justice.
By collaborating with our Program, your organisation gains access to a motivated cohort of students seeking volunteer roles that make a real difference. Brennan students participate in community-focused service each year, contributing their time, energy, and growing skills to organisations working to advance justice, equity, and community wellbeing. Whether your organisation needs support for events, research, outreach, client assistance, or broader project work, Brennan students offer a reliable and passionate volunteer base.
Together, we can create impactful experiences for students while strengthening the important work your organisation does every day.
