No Financial Guarantee Sanction

NFG – No Financial Guarantee

You should have a valid financial guarantee from your sponsor covering the period of your study at UTS.

Without a valid Financial Guarantee, an NFG sanction will be placed on your account. 

It is your responsibiity to seek financial guarantee extension from your sponsor directly.

Your sponsor must directly email the updated financial guarantee extension letter to sponsored.student@uts.edu.au.

Implications of NFG Sanction

• You may not be able to enrol at UTS until a valid financial guarantee is provided.
• Your exam results and academic records are withheld, study plan amendment is blocked until you provide a valid financial guarantee from your sponsor.
• Once a valid/updated financial guarantee has been provided by your sponsor, the International Sponsored Students Team will lift the sanction and you will be allowed to enrol, access to results, etc.
