Make the most of the summer with the Brennan Program Summer Circle 2026-2027 and build your Reflections on Justice (ROJ) points and Leadership through Service (LTS) hours. No need to register; just engage and claim!

Brennan Program Summer Circle

Summer is a great time to catch up on your Brennan progress outside of your busy study schedule. It's also a great way to finish the program before you graduate and build your Reflections on Justice (ROJ) points andLeadership through Service (LTS) hours.

This year's Summer Circle will run from Monday 30 November 2026 - Sunday 14 February 2027. During this time students who accumulate:

  • Between 20 and 40 ROJ points during Summer Circle, are eligible for 5 additional ROJ.
  • 45 ROJ points or more, will receive an additional 10 ROJ points.

Students can also claim bonus points for LTS hours they've completed during the Summer Circle period. For every set of 20 LTS hours, students can claim a bonus 5 ROJ points.

NOTE: Total bonus ROJ points are capped at 20 bonus points per Summer Circle period.

During this time, you can explore content shared on the Brennan Collective Facebook Group and the Brennan noticeboard on Canvas, where new opportunities are regularly posted.

Simply upload your Brennan claims to CareerHub during this period to be eligible for bonus ROJ points! First year students commencing over Summer are best to connect via the Brennan Collective to seek ROJ and LTS opportunities faster and should email the team with their ROJ and LTS documents for retrospective approval.BrennanProgram@uts.edu.au

  • Interested in a specific podcast, TV show, news article, or external event? You can claim ROJ for these, provided they clearly connect to social justice. If you’re unsure, email us for pre-approval.

Don't forget the Brennan Handbook outlines what is eligible for ROJ and LTS, so you could also claim for other things that have a justice or volunteering connection.

To be eligible for bonus ROJ points, students must claim them through CareerHub between the specified Summer session dates. Volunteer work must also be undertaken within this period to be eligible for bonus points. Back-claiming ROJ and LTS is highly encouraged to get closer to the Award; however, it won't be eligible for Summer Circle bonus points.
