The Master of Physiotherapy provides innovative, practice-based physiotherapy education and high impact research excellence in acute care, rehabilitation and neuroscience leading to eligibility to apply for professional registration in Australia.
Our academics are expert physiotherapist clinicians, who are trained in a variety of practice environments, providing you with essential clinical skills. Each with their own respective areas of expertise, our academics are internationally renowned with research topics in neurorehabilitation, chronic disease management and intensive care physiotherapy.

Innovative and creative environment
Facilities feature collaborative learning spaces, enabling innovative and creative thinking. Integrated clinical simulation rooms, interactive lecture theatres and a 30-bay plinth room equipped with the latest physiotherapy technology will further develop your clinical reasoning and professional skills. Case-based teaching and learning coupled with a small cohort and addressing different clinical settings will ensure you gain a breadth of knowledge and skill.
You will become technology-enabled through exposure to a suite of robotic and virtual reality rehabilitation devices. We have sourced equipment from Austria, for the purpose of research and teaching, with UTS as the second site in Australia to purchase the entire range and the first in a University setting.
