Summer School: a collaboration between UTS and ESILV to educate engineering with a taste of Paris
Ten engineering students from UTS were invited to build an electronic game based on Parisian themes this summer as part of a collaboration between the University of Technology Sydney and ESILV.
A summer school that exemplifies strong collaboration
For the 2023 edition of this summer school co-organised by the two schools, the summer school with a hybrid format that lasted three weeks: one week online from 19 to 25 June, then two weeks in Paris from 25 June to 7 July.
The student’s goal was to envision and design an electronic board game based on Paris such as “Paris and history,” “Paris and technology,” “Paris and art,” etc.
This summer school supplemented the cooperation between UTS and ESILV, where some twenty ESILV students spend part of their studies in Sydney, notably as part of the double degree agreement at the Master’s level for students in the Financial engineering major.
A much more far-reaching agreement
The partnership between UTS and De Vinci Higher Education also includes an important section with EMLV Business School with Leona TAM, Associate Dean International, representing UTS on EMLV’s International Advisory Committee. There is also a double degree agreement between UTS and EMLV for finance and marketing students.
