Projects offer industry partners a unique opportunity to deep-dive into an organisational challenge they’re facing with a team of students.

Whether you’re looking for fresh insights on a strategic project or new solutions to a complex problem your sector is facing, our TD students are equipped with new ways of thinking to tackle your project.

Benefits of projects

  • Work with and learn from our very own TD thinkers
  • Exposure to new methodologies and cutting-edge practices
  • Talent pipeline for partners to engage, nurture and secure graduates
  • Gain novel insights from students’ out-of-the-box thinking
  • Opportunity for your staff to mentor a team of students
  • Immersion in a transdisciplinary learning ecosystem supported by leading academics in this emerging and prized field

Projects vs internships

Project-based engagements offer industry partners the opportunity to gain insights from a student team outside of their organisation. Students deep-dive into a problem space with the guidance of a lead mentor who provides context and resources to inform the student team’s innovation journey. In comparison, internships are a more structured engagement whereby the student undergoes formal onboarding, and a dedicated supervisor provides them with a series of tasks.
