Teaching

We provide a world-class educational experience that prepares students to become skilled, compassionate and interdisciplinary practitioners. Indigenous knowledges and cultural safety are key to our curriculum. We take seriously our responsibility to produce quality graduates who will contribute to achieving better health outcomes for all people, both in Australia and around the world.

Research

We produce collaborative, world-class research that transcends disciplinary silos and changes lives, policy and practice. We are recognised for our international research excellence in a broad range of health areas including eating disorders, vision science, palliative care, and stuttering. In the last year alone, we exceeded more than $19m in external research funding.

Engagement

We build flourishing relationships with industry partners across the spectrum of the health care sector, including with Indigenous-led organisations who are transforming access to culturally safe care. These partnerships support our research and teaching endeavours, ensuring that our activities reflect and respond to the evolving needs of the global health sector.

Leading with impact

In the world of health care, impact is about more than shaping government policy, transforming routine approaches to care or developing new treatments. Our ultimate goal is to improve the lives and wellbeing of real people. We invite you to become part of this vibrant collective effort and to find your place at UTS Health.
