The Graduate School of Health is known for producing graduates who are equipped with the ability to face complexity, lead with confidence and manage the multifaceted challenges that come with the future of health professions.

As part of this commitment, the Graduate School of Health actively seeks accreditation and recognition from recognised bodies to ensure the quality of our courses and its relevance to current industry standards.

Australian Psychology Accreditation Council

The Master of Clinical Psychology program has full accreditation by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).

Graduates are eligible, following two years of supervised practice, for endorsement as a clinical psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and full membership of the College of Clinical Psychologists of the Australian Psychological Society.

Human Genetics Society of Australasia

The Master of Genetic Counselling has received full accreditation by the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA).

A two-year Master of Genetic Counselling program that is accredited by HGSA is required in order to apply for Board Eligible status through the HGSA. Board Eligible candidates complete a portfolio of work in order to complete certification as a genetic counsellor and become a Fellow of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia.

Australian Pharmacy Council

The Master of Pharmacy has been granted accreditation by the Australian Pharmacy Council and is approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia as a qualification leading to registration as a pharmacist in Australia.

Australian Physiotherapy Council

The Master of Physiotherapy is fully accredited by the Australian Physiotherapy Council, and is approved by the Australian Physiotherapy Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a qualification leading to registration as a physiotherapist in Australia.

Speech Pathology Australia

The University of Technology’s Master of Speech Pathology program is fully accredited with Speech Pathology Australia. Graduates are qualified to practice as Speech Pathologists in Australia and are eligible to apply for certified practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
