My name is Rubani Khanna. I am doing a Bachelor in Engineering with a Diploma in Engineering Practice.

I did Arguments, Evidence and Intuition, and the subject essentially just entails looking at a data set, analysing that to see how reliable the sources are and how reliable the data is, and then using that to present an argument.

Alongside studying it, I've been working, and I've been able to apply all the numeracy and the reasoning skills that I've learnt from it into my day-to-day life at work.

Further, I think it's also helped in being critical with the information that comes to you. For example, in the media, all the contentious issues that are presented to you, it really helps for you to really think about it and understand where the number's coming from and why a source is presenting information the way that it is.

Overall, in my career the subject will be very useful. It's something that I can apply on a day-to-day basis, and it's definitely something that I can apply within my professional life and outside of it.

Commercial Law
