The objectives of the Proteomics Core Facility are to:
- Provide a world class proteomics facility for UTS researchers.
- Establish UTS as a world leader in proteomics and technology development
- Attract collaborations and seek funding opportunities through Australian and international agencies
- Develop new proteomics technologies to enable key projects within UTS
- Assemble a strong IP portfolio centred on key technologies to underpin UTS projects
- Partner with industry to commercialise technology and access the latest technologies and trends
- Provide a showcase facility for industry partners
- Provide intra-university training for existing researchers as well as honours and postgraduate students
