• Composition and membership

  The Chair of Academic Board appoints a chair, 2 academic staff members and a student member when the committee is required to meet (in accord with Rule 17.3).

  The term of office for a panel member approved under Rule 17.3.1(3) will continue until such time as the member resigns their membership, or ceases to be eligible for membership under Rule 17.3.1(1).

  Council approved the amendment to the committee membership term effective from 15 June 2016 (COU 16-3/62).

  The terms of reference for the Internships Appeals Committee are contained in Rule 17.3.2.

• Procedure

  The Internships Appeals Committee Procedure (PDF) governs the committee's operation and clarifies the roles and responsibilities of committee members.

  The procedure is approved by Academic Board in accordance with Rules 17.5.3 and 17.5.4 and supplements Rules 17.5 to 17.8, which outline general procedures for all appeals committees of Academic Board.
