The Girra Maa Indigenous Health Discipline lead an Indigenous health major. These subjects are:

Girra Maa also support colleagues across the university for quality curriculum on the health and well-being of Indigenous people and to meet the UTS Indigenous Graduate Attribute.

Developing an Indigenised Curriculum 

Build a repository of Indigenous learning resources within your teaching discipline with this UTS Open microcredential. You’ll learn to embed Indigenous knowledges, perspectives and world views into your curriculum design process, develop quality assessments and evaluations and manage difficult conversations to promote cultural safety in the classroom.

Supervising Indigenous Higher Degree Research

During this course, you will learn about Indigenous research theories and methodologies which you can then apply within your own supervising practice. This will help you to ethically and effectively supervise higher degree research using Indigenous methodologies, and/or with an Indigenous focus.
