Joelle Fa
Master of Clinical Psychology
"I was excited when I first heard about the UTS Master of Clinical Psychology program through friends from my undergraduate degree. I attended a Graduate School of Health information evening to learn more and immediately, I was struck by the genuine and supportive attitude of the staff towards their students and prospective students. I especially loved that the program would be delivered by academic staff who were not only actively involved in their own research, but were also all practicing Clinical Psychologists. This is a quality unique to the program at UTS. I had no hesitation in applying after that night, and nearly two years later I am very thankful that I did!"
Anastasia Hronis
Master of Clinical Psychology and PhD student
"I found the Master of Clinical Psychology degree both personally and professionally rewarding. Throughout the Master of Clinical Psychology degree, I developed a deeper appreciation of the role of clinical psychologists within multidisciplinary teams. The combination of the Master degree and PhD has allowed me to develop and refine my research skills, while highlighting the importance of the scientist practitioner model."
Dr. Luke Vu
Master of Clinical Psychology graduate and PhD recipient
"I’ve always loved psychology and understanding what makes people tick. I’ve spent about a decade studying psychology and still am totally enthralled with the human mind. I felt there was an enormous need for what I believed would be the next public health and community need – digital addiction such as addictions to pornography, gaming, online shopping, bit-coin trading, and gambling. I chose UTS because they are innovative and genuinely invested into the training of clinicians."
