Overview

Thomson Reuters Prize for Advanced Commercial Law was established to recognise the best performing student in subject 79018 Advanced Commercial Law. Usually, one (1) Recipient will be awarded the Prize at the end of each academic year.

Who is eligible?

Students enrolled in a UTS award course who receive a result in 79018 Advanced Commercial Law in the academic year for which the prize is being awarded.


 

Selection process

The prize will be awarded to the student who achieves the highest aggregate mark in subject 79018 Advanced Commercial Law in the relevant academic year.

In the event that two or more eligible students have the same highest aggregate mark, the following criteria will be considered:

  1. Performance in subject 79018 Advanced Commercial Law outside of formal assessment that demonstrates mastery of and engagement in the subject;
  2. No previous attempts of subject 79018 Advanced Commercial Law;
  3. Overall academic performance in the student’s course, including GPA, whether the student has failed other subjects, received academic cautions or had a finding of misconduct against them.
