The Daffodil Centre
The Daffodil Centre is a joint venture between Cancer Council NSW and the University of Sydney, combining the complementary strengths of the two partners to accelerate progress towards our common goal of a cancer-free future.
The Daffodil Centre is a leading research centre on cancer control and policy – providing timely and relevant evidence to national and international policy-makers to inform best-practice decision-making in cancer control. We are focused on reducing the incidence, morbidity and mortality associated with cancer and on improving the quality of life of people with a cancer diagnosis.
Independent Hospital Pricing Authority
The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) is an independent government agency established as the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) under Commonwealth legislation on 15 December 2011 as part of the National Health Reform Agreement (NHRA) reached by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) in August 2011.
Cancer Institute NSW
The Cancer Institute NSW is a pillar organisation of NSW Health, providing the strategic direction for cancer control in NSW.
They collect and use the latest cancer data, information and evidence to drive improvements in cancer outcomes. The Cancer Institute is the largest funder of cancer research in the state, with a focus on the translation of research findings into clinical practice.
Cancer Australia
Cancer Australia was established by the Australian Government in 2006 to benefit all Australians affected by cancer, and their families and carers. Cancer Australia aims to reduce the impact of cancer, address disparities and improve outcomes for people affected by cancer by leading and coordinating national, evidence-based interventions across the continuum of care.
Australian Health Services Alliance
Australian Health Service ALLIANCE Ltd. (AHSA) is a service company representing a number of small to medium sized private health insurance funds. The company was formed in 1994 to provide management services to these Funds throughout Australia. By pooling their resources and creating AHSA, participating Funds are able to respond more effectively to the numerous changes occurring in the private health industry.
