5 Year Report 

A world-wide focus on sustainable industries has renewed the interest in algae. With the support of the NSW Government the Biotech Hub will create jobs via an enabling, incubator environment to develop algae as a cost effective and sustainable source of:

  • Food/protein
  • Animal feed
  • Nutritional supplements
  • Oil for fuel
  • Cosmetics
  • Industrial chemicals such as polymers.

Bringing NSW to the forefront of algae-based biotechnology innovation to support a diverse, resilient and connected algae bioeconomy in Australia. The New South Wales Deep Green Biotech Hub (DGBH) is supported by the NSW Government.
